Diploma in Digital Media – NBCCD
Diploma in 3D Animation – Centre for Arts & Technology
Diploma in Applied Arts -NBCC

“I look at my job as trying to keep the morale of the school up and find ways to engage students and staff outside of their bubbles. The number one thing I spend my time doing is helping students in any way I can. A lot of the time people just need to be pointed in the right direction.”

Nichole Saunders is the Student Life Coordinator. She is an information resource for students on campus, and throughout the academic year she plans a variety of events to enrich the community, from Lunch & Learn information sessions to fun events like movie nights and coffee houses.

Nichole has worked as an intern at CFB Gagetown, creating VR training simulations for the Department of National Defense. She felt a great deal of purpose and pride by contributing to the safety of the soldiers who would use these programs to train. She later worked at Thermtest where she was the Lead 3D Modeller and Graphic Designer.

Nichole is very relatable for students as she is a recent graduate and a freelance 3D Environmental Artist. Her enthusiasm for lifelong learning is evident. She seeks experience in all studios of the College by taking a wide variety of classes, and often supplements with online courses in her free time. This gives her an ongoing lens into the life of a student, which she uses to effectively support the College population.

A fun fact about Nichole: She has over 3,000 Batman collectors’ items, and she cosplays as Bat Woman.
