Convocation Schedule
10:00am – Arrive at college for gown pick-up (Note: students can pick up gowns until 12:30pm)
12:30pm — Processional line-up in college courtyard
1:30pm — Doors open at Fredericton Playhouse to guests
1:30pm — Grads begin processional walk down Queen St. to the Fredericton Playhouse
2:00pm — Convocation
4:00pm — Post-Ceremony Reception at NBCCD (additional guests welcome) and gown return/diploma pick-up at college opens. Please note our reception is a small informal event. Light snacks will be available and students and their guests are welcome to come and go as needed.
5:00pm — Gown return/diploma pick up closes. Juried Graduate Exhibition Opening at Government House & Presentation of NBCCD Permanent Collection Award
Valedictorian
Apply for Class Valedictorian!
The Class Valedictorian will deliver the valedictory address to their fellow graduates at the June convocation ceremony. We encourage any interested students to apply for this important opportunity.
To be considered, students must meet the following requirements:
– be a graduating 2nd year diploma student
– have a 3.0 GPA or higher
– be on track to graduate in June
– submit a video reading a sample speech

Accessibility
There will be ASL interpreters present for hearing-impaired guests.

Convocation Livestream
Convocation will be livestreamed via our official YouTube channel. The livestream will be publicly visible so additional friends and family can tune in virtually. YouTube’s livestream chat can display congratulatory comments from virtual guests for you to enjoy upon later viewing. The convocation recording will be made permanently available on our YouTube channel in the weeks following Convocation.
