Katherine Bosnitch joined New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in August 2015. She holds a diploma and B.A.A. in Fashion (Ryerson) and an M.A. in Art History (Concordia). Passionately interested in fashion illustration, Bosnitch has long sought to bring critical attention to the subject. In 2004, an article summarizing her thesis findings, A Little on the Wild Side: Eaton’s Prestige Fashion Advertising Published in the Montreal Gazette, 1952-72, was published by the University of Toronto Press in Fashion: A Canadian Perspective. She has also been cited in articles about fashion illustration in The National Post, Clin d’œil, and Applied Arts. As an artist, she has worked in Canada and aboard, contributing illustrations to books, magazines, and advertising campaigns, primarily in the fashion industry.
