Lieutenant Governor named 2022 NBCCD Fellow

The Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick, her honour Brenda Murphy, has been named the 2022 NBCCD Fellow.

Her honour spoke at NBCCD’s 2022 convocation ceremony on June 10 about the role artists, designers, and makers have in society.

“The skills that you’ve learned in your courses will allow you to share your values, your traditions, and your vision for a better world. You can be actors of change, difference makers, and maybe even disrupters in your communities.”

The Fellow distinction was established at NBCCD in 1988, to celebrate the college’s fiftieth anniversary. Since then, the distinction has been awarded to more than 60 individuals who have made a significant contribution to the development and wellbeing of the college and the people who work there.
