NBCCDSA Opens Applications for 2026-2027 Board of Directors 

The NBCCD Student Association is now accepting applications for its 2026-2027 Board of Directors positions! This is an exciting opportunity for students to develop leadership skills, build connections, and directly contribute to student life at NBCCD. All eligible applications will be shared on the virtual ballot for all NBCCDSA Members to vote on shortly after the application deadline passes. 

Why Join the Student Association?

Serving as a Director on the Student Association Board offers more than just leadership experience—it’s a chance to make a real impact on campus. Board members will work alongside faculty, staff, and students to enhance student life while gaining valuable professional experience. Each Director will receive a $250 honorarium per month as recognition for their contributions.  

• Work with and for your fellow students to create a better NBCCD experience. 

• Make a direct impact on student life and campus initiatives. 

• Discover your strengths and goals through hands-on leadership. 

• Gain real-world experience in teamwork, communication, and organization. 

• Expand your network by connecting with faculty, staff, and fellow students. 

Available Positions:

PRESIDENT 

• Lead the NBCCDSA, chairing meetings, and internal review processes. 

• Speak for the NBCCDSA, leading email communications, press releases, and more. 

• Oversee access and upkeep of major contracts, SA Bylaws, and policies. 

 

VICE PRESIDENT 

• Oversee NBCCDSA events and student-led clubs. 

• Oversee and liaise with NBCCDSA hired positions and all Studio Representatives. 

• Monitor and field questions received through social media. 

• Step in if the President is released from their position. 

 

SECRETARY- TREASURER 

• Ensure the financial stability of the NBCCDSA. 

• Record the minutes of all Director meetings and GAs. 

• Keep an organized account of all SA records. 

• Ensure taxes and other renewals are filed. 

 

ALL DIRECTOR POSITIONS 

• Meet at least twice a month to make informed decisions concerning the Board and Members. 

• Work together to host General Assemblies. 

• Report all time spent working for the Student Association, meeting monthly expectations. 

• Facilitate the approval of payments as a Signing Authority. 

• Prepare future board members through onboarding procedures. 

• Support other Directors in completing tasks on deadline.

Voting Period: March 31 – April 6 2026 

Once applications are received, virtual polling stations will open on Tuesday, March 31 and remain open until Monday, April 6 at 11:59pm 

All NBCCDSA members will receive details on how to vote via their student email.
