Black Lives Matter Fredericton | A conversation with organizer Husoni Raymond

Black Lives Matter Fredericton Organizer Husoni Raymond sat down with the NBCCD Student Life Coordinator last week to tell students what their Fredericton chapter is working on, and to let you know how you can make change in your own communities.

“When there are barriers to certain groups of people, that negatively affects everyone. It should be an active attempt on behalf of all people to dismantle these systems of oppression so everyone has equal access to opportunities, but more importantly, everyone feels safe and supported within our communities. I think it’s the duty of everyone to do this work,” said Husoni.
