NBCCD is so pleased to welcome and introduce our first ever Elders-in-Residence. Miigam’agan is a Wabanaki/Mi’kmaw grandmother of the Jagej Clan from Esgenoopetitj/Burnt Church. Ron is a citizen of Wolastoq Nation.

As Elders-in-Residence they are ready to share their knowledge, support students and help the college forward on a path of right relations.

Miigam’agan and Ron invite you to come to this first talking circle. In a Talking Circle, each one is equal and each one belongs. Participants in a Talking Circle come to share and listen, respecting the views of others. The intention is to open hearts to understand and connect with one another.
