GET CONNECTED!
You’ll find NBCCD offers many opportunities for you to get involved and give back to your community. From potlucks to off-campus educational field trips and fundraisers, you will have lots of opportunities to connect with peers and staff outside of studio and classroom time for your personal growth.
STUDENT ASSOCIATION (SA)
The Student Association (SA) represents you at the College and provides social programming throughout the academic year, such as our annual Halloween Costume Party and inter-studio Ball Hockey Tournament.
Every year, you get to choose an Executive, as well as student Studio Representatives, to coordinate activities and ensure your opinions are heard. Volunteer and participate!
For more information on current Student Association events, partnerships and by-laws visit NBCCDSA website.
STUDENT CLUBS
The Chromatic Collective and the Calligraphy Penmanship Club are just two examples of the opportunities you will have to meet and connect with peers that have similar interests, values and concerns. Stay tuned for our 2020-21 clubs! If you’re interested in starting a club, email the Student Life Coordinator, Jerry-Faye Flatt at jerry-faye.flatt@gnb.ca.
STUDENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Another great program is the “Busy Bee” student volunteer program. Busy Bee is funded by the Student Association (SA) offering you the opportunity to volunteer your time and earn financial bursaries.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Whether raising money for non-profits with the sale of hand-made mugs, raising funds for student bursaries through fashion events, or supporting the New Brunswick Craft Council and the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, students and staff at the College give back to their community.
