2026 Vendors

Meet the 2026 Creative Casemates Vendors

Each summer, Creative Casemates transforms downtown Fredericton into a hub of creativity, entrepreneurship, and local craft. Operated by the College, the seasonal retail program provides opportunities for students, alumni, and members of New Brunswick’s creative community to connect with the public and gain valuable experience selling their work.

This year’s vendors showcase a diverse range of handmade products, from ceramics and textiles to illustration, specialty goods, and contemporary craft. Whether you’re searching for a unique gift, meeting local makers, or exploring the creative talent that calls New Brunswick home, Creative Casemates offers something new to discover with every visit.

Theo is a multimedia textile artist and the maker behind Cables N Fables. Currently studying Textile Design at NBCCD with a focus on weaving, their work explores the beauty and cycles of decay found in nature. Drawing inspiration from fall landscapes, Theo incorporates overshot weaving patterns, natural fibres, and traditional textile techniques into their practice. Passionate about sustainable making, they research endangered sheep breeds, process raw wool from fleece to yarn, and continue to explore natural dyeing methods that strengthen the connection between their materials and the natural world. Their products include hand-spun yarn, tea towels, bookmarks, and other textile goods.

Julie is entering her second year in NBCCD’s Ceramics program. Her work includes a selection of functional ceramic pieces, including mugs, bowls, and other handcrafted objects designed for everyday use.

Astyr is also entering their second year in the Ceramics program.
