Future NB
Future NB is a provincial partnership dedicated to promoting and supporting experiential education for students across New Brunswick.
Experiential education opportunities allow students to engage in hands-on experiences related to their academic fields, reflect on these experiences to gain meaningful insights, and apply their learning both in the classroom and in future career opportunities. This approach provides a flexible and accessibly way to develop skills, gain practical experience, and explore potential career paths while still in school.
FutureNB funding at NBCCD
With funding obtained through the FutureNB initiative, we are able to offer support for work placements for our students.
This program is designed to help bridge the gap between academic learning and practical experience, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for their future careers.
Both employers and students can apply for this program using our application form below. We encourage applications from students looking to gain hands-on experience in their field of study and from employers eager to provide valuable learning opportunities.
Please note that there is limited funding available for this program. This program will run until funds run out.
Guidelines
- A student may only partake in this funding once throughout their academic career.
- You must be in good academic standing with NBCCD to apply.
- The work must align with your current studies here at NBCCD.
- The employer must be subsidizing or paying part of the salary.
- Other restrictions may be applicable.
